Tatton Park to Knutsford

Tatton Park – Knutsford.  - 5 miles

This is a traffic free cycle ride around the 2000 acres of parkland of Tatton Par, which
welcome cyclists to enjoy the park.

I started my cycle ride at the gates to Tatton Country Park near the junction of Meredith Lane and King Street . Near to The Lodge .

As you enter the estate you can cycle freely around the estate at your will and is suitable
for a family or fun/leisure ride. I chose to cycle along the main driveway (known as Knutsford Drive) towards Tatton Old Hall past Tatton Mere on my right as I cycled through the park.
There are many drives/paths that you can cycle along through the park, mainly tarmac surfaced.
As you cycle through the park there are several places of interest you may like to visit. There is Tatton Old Hall, Adventure Playground, Maize, National Trust – Tatton Hall Mansion and you can also cycle by the large Deer Park on the estate.
If you require refreshments you can visit one of the café’/tuck shops, farm shop, garden shop or even the park gift shop to break up your ride if you wish.
You can make the ride as long or as short as you wish covering from just a couple of miles up to what ever you feel comfortable on the day.
I would suggest you check the parks website for events before you visit the park as they have quite a wide variety of events on throughout the year.
