Continue along the gravel trail for about half a mile where you come to a junction as you approach the top of the hill (4).

At the junction with the road leave The South Downs Way and TURN RIGHT along Newbarn Lane. Continue along the lane through the forest towards Chalton. Keep your eyes open along this section as you may possibly see a deer if your lucky!
