Mevagissey to Mevagissey

Mevagissey – A 7 mile round route which takes you through the rural lanes around Mevagissey. Travelling past woodland, farms and country villages of the area.

Start at Mevagissey Harbour.From the harbour cycle along The Cliff (road name) along the harbor side turning left along Middle Wharf. As you turn left onto Middle Wharf turn first right. At the end of this road turn right onto Fore ST. and immediate left along Tregoney Hill.

Cycle along Tregoney Hill ( note after about 50 metres Tregoney takes a very sharp right hand bend, follow the road around to the right at this
At the end of Tregoney Hill bear right along a country lane and keep bearing right along
this lane, after about three quarters of a mile you will come to a lane on your right called Gilley Lane (just to get your bearings ie landmark). Keep travelling along the lane you are on past Gilley lane. You will come to a farm on your right just after Gilley lane and the road
bends sharp left, follow the lane around the bend past the farm. You will come to a small cross roads go straight across the cross roads.

When you reach the end of the lane turn right towards the village of St. Ewe. Cycle along the lane straight through ST.Ewe and when you are leaving the village take the left hand fork in the road and after 300 metres you will reach a ‘T’ Junction at this junction turn left.
Carry on along this road passing a some properties on your right after approx half a mile. Carry on along this road for about another mile and you will come to a fork in the road. Take the right hand fork in the road sign posted for Mevagissey.
This road will take you back to Mevagissey. As you enter Mevagissey this road will run into Cliff Road which in turn will take back to The Cliff on the harbour side.
