Starting at the public car Park on Market Street on the harbour side. This 2.5 mile linear cycle ride takes you from Aberaeron along a dedicated cycle path which follows the route of the old railway line to the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron Mansion.

Starting from the car park on Market Street. TURN RIGHT out of thee car park and cycle 100 yards to the end of Market Street. At the end of Market Street TURN LEFT along North road A487 and THEN TURN IMMEDIATE RIGHT up Sgwan Alban and cycle 150 yards to the end of the road where you TURN RIGHT on to Stryd Y Fro A482.

Continue to cycle along Stryd Y Fro and TAKE THE THIRD TURNING ON YOUR LEFT, just after the Memorial Hall (about 350 yards). If you reach the Social Services Building on your right you have gone a few yards too far. As you turn into the lane keep to the tree line on the right hand side of the car park and at the end of the car park you will come to the start of the cycle trail to Llanerchaeron. Bear right on to the trail and follow the tree lined trail as you head out of Aberaeron.

You now cycle for approximately 2 miles to Llanerchaeron where the trail brings you out
by Llanerchaeron Mansion. As you cycle along you will cycle past woodland and follow the route of the river on your right hand side.
Llanerchaeron Mansion is on the River Aeron, and was built in 1795 by John Nash for Major (later Colonel) William Lewis as a model, self-sufficient farm complex. There is evidence that the house replaced an earlier mansion. The estate is now run by The National Trust.
