Haverfordwest to Neyland

Haverford West – Neyland 11 mile cycle ride along The Brunel Trail – Part of The Celtic
Trail National Route 4

This route will take you along Scenic Brunel Trail which is basically the route originally taken by The Great Western Railway , built sometime in the mid 18th century.

Start Freemans Way cycle path near County Hall and Castle.

Cycle along the cycle path until you come to a roundabout (Merlin’s roundabout)
Cross the roundabout and take the road towards Pembrokeshire College. At the bottom of the hill turn left onto the cycle path towards Johnston which is approx 5 miles from the start of your ride.
During this section of the ride you will pass by the water meadows at Cinnamon Grove then through Bolton Hill Woods and travel along the old railway line to Johnson.
Carry on cycling along the dedicated cycle way which will take you past Rosemarket, through Westfield Pill Nature Reserve and finally to your destination of Brunel Quay at Neyland.
Along the way you will find refreshments ant various points, Johnston,Rosemaket and finally Brunel Quay. There is even a bike hire shop at Haverford West.
